The Electro-Harmonix Effects Interface Hardware Plugin® is a first-of-its-kind solution designed to seamlessly integrate pedals, outboard gear, and software plugins with your DAW. It enables effortless signal flow between physical hardware and software without the need for DI boxes or special converters, all via a simple USB-C connection.
The Effects Interface operates in three distinct modes, making it equally powerful for studio and stage use:
- Hardware Plugin Mode – Send tracks from your DAW through pedals and external hardware just like using a software plugin.
- Pedalboard Mode – Route your instrument into your DAW, process it with plugins, and send it back to your pedalboard or amp, effectively turning plugins into physical pedals.
- Audio Interface Mode – Use the unit as a traditional 2-in / 2-out USB audio interface.
In Hardware Plugin Mode, any DAW track can be routed through your favorite effects for a hands-on, tactile experience. Run vocals through analog delays, horns through a wah pedal, or warm up MIDI tracks using preamp pedals—all controlled directly from your DAW using the Effects Interface plugin.
Pedalboard Mode enables true hybrid rigs by allowing guitar signals to pass through software plugins and return seamlessly into the physical signal chain. Plugin-only effects or digital preamps can now be used live as if they were pedals mounted on your board.
The Electro-Harmonix Effects Interface Hardware Plugin removes the boundaries between hardware and software, transforming pedals into studio-ready outboard gear and plugins into pedalboard-integrated effects—all through one simple USB connection.
