Walrus Audio Voyager Overdrive MKII

Voyager MKII is a mid-focused overdrive/preamp that captures all the legendary magic of the original Voyager while adding a wealth of new features. From its lowest to highest settings, it delivers exceptional clarity and versatility for any playing style.

Dynamic Overdrive

At lower gain settings, the Voyager brightens the signal and adds clarity to each note. With higher gain, it transforms into a thick, rich overdrive, providing depth to chords while retaining clarity for solos.

Parametric Mid-Frequency EQ

The Voyager MKII expands on the traditional three-knob Centaur layout with a foot-switchable parametric mid EQ. The Mid knob provides a +/-12dB boost/cut, while the Freq knob sets the center frequency from 250Hz to 2kHz, allowing precise tone shaping for any guitar or pickup combination.

Five-Way Diode Switch

Customize your sound with the five-way rotary switch:

• 1: Classic 1N34A Germanium Diodes – most compressed, original Voyager sound.
• 2: 1N34A Germanium Diodes with bass boost.
• 3: Symmetric Silicon Diodes – more open and dynamic.
• 4: Asymmetric Silicon Diodes – least compressed, open & driven.
• 5: Asymmetric Silicon Diodes with bass boost – open & driven with extra low-end.

Each position offers a unique “flavor,” and further customization is possible using the Mid/Freq EQ, providing near-infinite gain options.

True Bypass & Variants

The Voyager MKII features true bypass switching. It is available in two variants:

• Seafoam with black ink featuring the Voyager satellite illustrated by original artist Nathan Price.
• Matte black with cream ink, space helmet illustration by Christi Du Toit.

• Input: 1/4" TS, unbalanced, 1MΩ impedance
• Output: 1/4" TS, unbalanced, 100kΩ impedance
• Power: 9V DC, center negative, 100mA minimum (isolated supply recommended)

Dimensions: 2.62" x 4.77" x 2.25" (including knobs). Designed and assembled in the USA. Daisy chaining power supplies is not recommended. Power supply not included.
