The Ibanez Concord 684 is a great example of a Lawsuit period (1970s) guitar when the Japanese guitar manufacturers approached, and sometimes even surpassed, their American competitors in quality and sound. The model was introduced in 1974, crafted at Terada plant (Japan) and discontinued in 1978.
This Ibanez is a copy of the Gibson Hummingbird, and is equipped with a laminated mahogany back and sides with a solid spruce top. The double binding and characteristic engraved pickguard adorn the guitar.
The guitar also has playwear that is to be expected given the age of the guitar, but is clean overall and comes in a hardshell case.
