Second-hand Sales and Trades

In addition to selling new products, we also buy and sell quality second-hand guitars. Please read our main policies and find the form to send us the information about your item.

Want to sell your guitar?

  • We gladly accept most American and Japanese made instruments, providing they are in good condition and do not require major service and maintenance. We do not want to sell low-priced (below 300€) mass produced Asian made instruments or fake/knock offs so there is no need to offer us these types of guitars. 

  • Our commission fee for consignment deals is 15%. If you choose the "FAST SALE" option, we will send you our offer by e-mail.

  • All guitars will be individually assessed for their current market value online and the final selling price agreed with the owner. We do not wish to sell guitars over their market price, so we ask owners to set realistic asking prices. Otherwise we might not be interested in selling your items. 

  • If your guitar requires service (incl. new strings), then those fees will be agreed with you and will be at an extra cost. 

  • After basic service and set-up, your guitar will be put on our wall of guitars at our shop, all guitars will be also put online to our webpage and our Reverb shop. Listings will be promoted at random in our social media pages. 

  • If we are unable to sell your guitar within a timeframe that does not meet your expectations or if you find a buyer for your guitar elsewhere after the guitar has already been serviced and maintained by us in our shop, we charge a 40€ fee, should you decide to remove the guitar from sale. This is to cover the promotion and maintenance we have done on your guitar.  

    Used gear form

    There are three options for selling your gear:

    1. FAST SALE - means we buy your guitar now with below market price. This is good if you are in a hurry and need the gear sold immediately. We will send you an offer once you have filled out the form below IF we are interested in that particular item! Most likely you need to bring the instrument in for a 1 day inspection to our store before we make a final offer.   
    2. CONSIGNMENT - means the guitar will be put up on sale in our shop and web channels. You will receive the money for your gear once it sells. Sometimes it takes a week or two, other times many months. Our consignment fee is 15%. This option is good if you are not in a hurry and want to receive a fair market price for your gear. 
    3. TRADE-trade your guitar or pedal for something new we have in the shop.

    Our Guitars

    • All guitars in our shop have been carefully inspected, serviced when needed and set-up to ideal playing condition. You can expect every guitar in our showroom to have great intonation, clean frets, trussrod and string height adjusted + always in tune with fresh strings.
    • When buying second-hand guitars from us, you can rest assured knowing there are no hidden flaws or defects on the guitar. If there are any, it will be mentioned to buyer, but we generally do not sell instruments with more than only cosmetic defects.
    • Guitars are kept in ideal humidity controlled (show)room, tuned and dusted every week and maintained when needed.
