The Origin Effects Cali76 Stacked Edition V2 is a powerhouse compression pedal designed for players who want serious tone control with studio-level quality. By placing two Cali76 compressor circuits in series, it creates an ultra-rich, stacked compression effect that offers everything from subtle dynamic control to heavy squash, all while maintaining musicality and punch.
Each compressor stage features its own Attack/Release controls for independent shaping, while the Thru control sets the level feeding the second compressor, unlocking the “stacked” dynamic response that defines this pedal. Add in a Dry mix control for pristine parallel compression and you’ve got one of the most versatile compressors available.
Now in V2 form, the pedal offers increased headroom, a smaller footprint, and is more board-friendly than ever before. It also features three gain-reduction meters (one per stage plus global LED), true bypass, and high-quality jacks and components made in the UK.
