This is a recycled custom bass built by bass guitarist Danny Stewart, combining quality components with a unique visual identity, this time around a seasonal autumn theme. The instrument pairs a Fender Japan alder body with an Aria neck, resulting in a solid and reliable foundation.
Outfitted with high-quality hardware and Seymour Duncan Basslines pickups, this bass delivers a wide tonal range suitable for various playing styles. The setup is very low and fast, making it exceptionally comfortable and responsive to play.
The active 9V circuit features a 3-band Seymour Duncan preamp, offering extensive tone shaping. A 3-way coil tap switch on the Music Man-style bridge pickup (series / single / parallel) provides additional flexibility, while the control layout allows precise adjustment of volume, balance, and EQ.
The instrument is finished in gloss lacquer, protecting the detailed fall foliage-themed artwork layered over a metallic puce and pink background. While the finish is not completely flawless, its shiny, almost jewel-like appearance is pretty unique.
