Designed to apply attack envelopes to each individual note, whether single notes or chords, it creates musical, multi-voice textures that adapt seamlessly to any style.

Expressive Polyphonic Attack

The polyphonic attack filter at the heart of the PICO Swello generates smooth polyphonic and reverse sounds, enhanced by a modulated low-pass filter for even more tonal variety. Subtle settings make your guitar lines sound fluid and flowing, even during fast passages and arpeggios, while deeper settings create dramatic swells ideal for ambient soundscapes and synth-like pads.

Simple and Intuitive Controls

• ATTACK – adjust from quick, gentle attacks to long, slow swells.
• VOL – controls the overall output level, compensating for perceived volume drops with longer attack times.
• Filter Button – engages the Low-Pass Filter (LPF) with switchable low or high resonance settings.
• FREQ – sets the cutoff frequency of the LPF for tonal shaping.
• MOD – controls the depth and direction of LPF envelope modulation, allowing upward or downward sweeps across a wide or narrow frequency range. The modulation timing is linked directly to the ATTACK setting.
