The instrument features a very comfortable neck with a slim C-shaped profile and smooth medium jumbo silver/nickel frets with rounded crowns, allowing for low action and easy playability. It is designed for fast, comfortable performance across all styles.
While comparable to Fender Japan instruments in feel and performance, this model uses slightly more economical materials, similar to the relationship between Squier Japan and Fender Japan. The nut is synthetic bone, the frets are nickel rather than stainless steel, and the body is constructed from 3-piece basswood instead of alder. Despite this, hardware quality remains excellent and in some cases preferable due to Gotoh components.
