The PRS S2 McCarty 594 blends classic vintage-voiced tone with the fit, feel, and reliability of modern PRS craftsmanship. Built with a mahogany back and maple top, it pairs natural warmth with brighter top-end clarity, all wrapped in the striking McCarty Sunburst finish.
The 22-fret mahogany neck features a Pattern Vintage shape with a 24.594" scale length and a rosewood fingerboard with faux bone binding and bird inlays, offering comfortable, familiar playability whether you're tracking in the studio or gigging live.
This particular instrument has been upgraded with a PRS USA 58/15 LT neck pickup for warm, articulate low-end response, and a PRS USA Tremonti bridge pickup for added output and aggressive midrange bite — a combination that broadens the guitar's tonal range from smooth vintage cleans to more modern, high-gain drive. The tone circuit has also been fitted with TAD push/push pots, giving smooth, tactile coil-splitting control alongside the 3-way toggle switch on the upper bout.
