The PLEK process achieves optimum playability for every instrument: a computerized machine scans the entire fretboard under simulated string tension and files/cuts the frets accordingly. This ensures precise intonation and buzz-free playing right out of the box.

Each top is hand "tap" tuned to measure overall balance and frequency response. If the frequency profile does not match the desired profile, the top is refined in the tapering CNC until the response perfectly matches the instrument’s target.
