Another highlight – besides the premium build and sound – is the use of the PLEK PRO state-of-the-art technology. The PLEK process achieves optimum playability for every instrument: a computerized machine scans the entire fretboard under simulated string tension and files/cuts the frets accordingly. This ensures precise intonation and buzz-free playing right out of the box.
Paired with the DOUBLE S1-PRO pickup, preamp and FX system, the acoustic-electric F1E Dreadnought model is unmatched. Playing acoustically gives you stunning Reverb, Chorus, or Delay directly from the guitar—no effects pedals needed! Plugged into an amp or mixer, the S1-PRO provides an undersaddle piezo pickup plus an onboard condenser microphone with blend control. Effects remain available, giving total control of your sound right from the guitar preamp. Comes standard with a deluxe nylon padded bag.
Each top is hand "tap" tuned to measure overall balance and frequency response. If the frequency profile does not match the desired profile, the top is refined in the tapering CNC until the response perfectly matches the instrument’s target.
